Depends on what hot is I guess. For me 78 and humid is hot.

I understand how 78 can be uncomfortable for some, but that isn't "hot" by any stretch of the imagination. HOT is when it burns you to walk barefoot outside, you can't even touch the seat belt buckle in your car, or when the breeze outside feels like a giant blow dryer.

Given the heat, do business professionals still don the suit, tie and suite in Houston?

It's almost official...this January temps have averaged 6.3 degrees above normal which will make this the warmest January on record for Houston if we don't get any major cold snaps thru the 31st....per the NWS. So yes, this January has been different.

Does anyone else think its a bit early for this type of weather? This is more "typical" of March or April. I'm getting worried about next summer already...
If you are turning on the AC already, you are a heat wimp. I suggest taking walks outside everyday to acclimate. I worked outside for many years in Houston and got use to the heat. It didn't bother at all.

Well I take that back when I gained alot of weight it did, but when I lost the weight it didn't.

Every state has that same saying and each state thinks they are the only one who says it.
