Just got a new Gateway desktop that is only 1month it is already dead it will take 3 to 4 week to get fixed from the factory not worth it. I am looking for a good computer repair place that is open on Saturdays that is in the South West Area close to Meyerland which place do you recommend??

Take to the Directron folks on Harwin and they have a very good hardware repair shop as well.

I've used Ron at Mobile Geeks several times and found him to be knowledgeable, honest and inexpensive. In fact, I wrote a review of him that said "Yes, Virginia, there is a computer repairman who will clean out your computer but not your wallet."

I've recommended him to others and they've all thanked me later.

Edited to add that I'm sorry about your Gateway. I've always had good luck with my Gateways. In fact, Ron with Mobile Geeks is the reason that my current Gateway is 7 years old and still going strong.

you pay for the parts and I'll fix it for free. by the way don't you have some kind of manufacturers warranty on it?

Only had 30 days from frys & the 30 days are up might have 90 days from the credit card company

I just did online chat with Gateway they said they can fix it for free but it would take a min of 3 weeks to fix it
and send it back. I really do not want to wait 3 weeks to get it back if I were to pay some under $100 to get it fixed locally and have it back in 3 to 5 days I would rather do this

I got it fixed in 90 min I went to Startronic2 59 & Weslayan guy fixed me right up a connector was connected wrong & the DMC connector a few pins has to soldiered factory defect for the DMC connector

They guy at the repair shop said to do the same thing in the next week to 10 days Gateway will be getting a letter from me with a copy of the repair bill

That's only fair. But I am sure Gateway will decline it for not repairing the computer at one if their facilities while in warranty. I don't think Gateway cares about the inconvenience factor (3 to 4 weeks to repair it) so you telling them that it had to be fixed right away and you had no choice will probably not work. But who knows, they may surprise you with a good gesture. Let us know how it goes and good luck with the bill of course :-)
