This is all BS. Quality of life is a subjective standard, not an objective standard. Like I'm going to live in San Francisco (can't afford it), or Des Moines (WTF?).

Definitely subjective.

Looking at the majority of the Top Ten: QOL for me isn't FREEZING MY ASS OFF all winter long. San Fran? Nice airport to land so you can rent a car to get to Napa/Sonoma

San Francisco is #1? Are they kidding? From NPR: "A new study shows that nearly half the young families who live in San Francisco are planning to move within the next three years. The city already has the lowest population of children per capita of any big U.S. city."
