We just moved to the Houston area in The Woodlands, and I desperately need a hair stylist that specializes in black hair in the area. Preferably someone who focuses on healthy hair. Recommendations requested. Thanks in advance!!!

I'm black & I get my hair done at JCPenney's Salon. They have some really good stylists there who are efficient, reasonably priced, & you won't wait forever! I recommend trying out a JCP salon, maybe they have one in The Woodlands Mall.

Default Black hair salons

Does anyone know of any of black hair styles in Houston. Near the galleria, Westchase or near Westheimer. I am looking for a nice professional salon that does long black hair.

I'm not sure, but what difference does the hair color make?

The Root of You Salon and Day Spa is good black salon (and, clearly, day spa) that has been around for a long time.

Natural Hair Resources is another one but the focus on "natural" hair no relaxers/perms, flat ironing or altering of the hair.
