TxHustla mentioned posting pics of Eastwood to show it's "bad" side.

Well, I have lots of pics I took this past week. Does anyone know how I can post them? I took pics of the street we bought our house on and of the walk we took from Eastwood to downtown. I even took a picture of a house with a rooster and a hen in the front yard.

Ok, you know what, it's all well and good you like Eastwood and want to sing it's praises but since you already started an Eastwood thread and THAT's the one TxHustla mentioned pictures on that where you should have posted this.

That thread got heated and now it's looking like you want to spam the board with Houston praise.

Pictures were asked in there and that's where they should go I think.

When you open a post there's a tool bar at the top and the one that's a yellow box with mountains and a small square gray box in the corner that makes it look like a letter says "insert image" so you post pictures from there.

Just saying.

Okay, sorry for the spam. I will see if I can figure out how to post the pics on the previous thread. Thanks for the info on how to do it.

I use the freebee version of photobucket. There is a sticky thread on the top that compiles all the pictures around town, and you can put it in there.

Oh, for heaven's sake, this is a relocation forum. Pictures of any Houston neighborhood should be welcome.

She's not selling real estate...it isn't spam.

Well duh. That's not what I was saying. I meant that she obviously loves Eastwood and all but it COULD easily get to the point where every couple of hours there's more "Eastwood is great! More pictures" or more proof and multiple threads on the same thing and that's kind of spammy trying to "sell" people on an area.

Questions, answers, topics, miscellaneous/chit-chat are what these forums are for. Not really convincing someone to live somewhere by promoting it through praise and pictures and stuff. I'm not saying vegankris was doing that but that she could be.

That's more along the lines of the city vs city forum is for I think.

The pictures were asked for in that thread for by logic they should be posted as a reply response...in that thread.

i don't see anything wrong with making a different thread with solely pictures...i also said i could try to take pictures of Eastwood when i visit my mom.... it's no differnt of when jfre would take pictures of his adventures through north side, downtown, montrose, etc.....

if someone wants to search Eastwood pictures, this thread should be the first to pop up and they can see pictures ONLY, and not go through 4 pages of talking before any pictures were posted..

Okay, I'm going to try uploading some pics. Disclaimer: I'm not even close to a professional photographer

These are pictures we took of the street where we bought our home in Eastwood. We parked our car on the street and walked along the street to downtown Houston. We walked along Harrisburg, I think.... sorry, I can't be certain I have the name of the street right.

Okay, well I guess that is it for now.... sorry if some of them are redundant.

Take care,
Kris
