My husband and I will relocate to Houston area. He will work in Kingwood and I will work in Medical Center. We have a half year old baby and our buget is under $260K. So, where should we buy a hourse?

Any suggestions?

Kingwood to Medical Center is not a bad commute and you can get a nice house for your money there. You would want to look in a neighborhood in the front of Kingwood with easy access to 59, the zip code is 77339. You can also check out the Oakhurst subdivision which is across 59 from Kingwood and has fast access to the highway if you are looking for a new build. If you want something with a bit of land check out Forest Cove. har.com is best place to see houses. Feel free to PM me if you have any questions about Kingwood.

Have you looked at a map of Houston lately? Not sure how you would remotely even suggest Champion Forest for the OP.

I would live the Humble area, probably look at Summerwood or Fall Creek or Oakhurst for the best/easiest commute times. You would be a lot closer to Kingwood commute wise (depending on where in Kingwood you are going), but the medical center would be an easy commute - just a little longer.

Check out both areas and what you get for the money. If you like both your husband better the right thing (for sanity sake) and pick the Medical Center.
