Thanks for all of the suggestions. Many of these neighborhoods look great (Garden oaks especially) look great to me so I'll have to drive through them next time I'm in town.

And yes my handicap is low enough to join Champions and I have a couple of sponsors lined up.

More I look I really like the 77079 area too, especially Nottingham Forest.

I see you mentioned Meyerland. I might be relocated to Houston for work (would likely work downtown) and was focussing in on Meyerland. Is it a good neighborhood for families ( I have two small kids)? Safe? Good Schools?

I really know nothing about Houston or Texas for that matter. I like football so... that is good, right?

We moved to Meyerland recently and we love it. It is family friendly and convenient to everything.
