Then my friend, I suggest you educate yourself to the extreme and get an extremely high paying job that affords you a lot of overseas travel so that you get to enjoy the cultures of other countries as much as possible .... because it doesn't sound as though you will ever find any happiness in the U.S.A.

Try Carthage or Jasper.

I give you two months.

Are you a foreign student who has come to the US to further your education? Perhaps if your home country had decent schools or job opportunities you could go back.

Go live in Latin America, Africa, the Middle East, or most of Asia. You will come back less of a spoiled, snotty American.

Hey can we call a spade a spade? This crybaby styles themself "progressive". Comes with the territory. If you believed that all would be lost without your "ideology", you would hate the USA too, for not agreeing with you and being a stupendously successful civilization. Especially since you would be living with this refutation every day, using the technology this civilization provides to spread the negativity. Probably you would be more happy in Europe, where civilizational teardown is in full swing. And if you believed you were better than everyone else, you wouldn't have much of a life either. So when you get right to it, if you believed that total personal annihilation awaits you in the end, you would be as bitter and maladjusted.

Much of the Middle East is actually quite rich. Look at UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, etc.

It really amazes me how ignorant people are when it comes to the Middle East yet we have so many people who talk about the place as if they know it..

And Latin America and Africa and Middle East are great. Haven't been to Asia yet..
