I have 3-4 month old stray cats in my backyard. I called many different agencies but all of them say the same thing that they do not have place to keep any more cats. I think all are female cats.

Anyone interested in adopting these cats?

If you google animal shelters/rescues in Houston, literally 100 places will come up. The height of kitten season has now passed, and one of the many will take them. But your probably going to have look hard and travel a few miles. That center one has some Maine Coon it...gorgeous cat! Off the top of my head Second Chance Pets...who also fosters. I believe I had given you a # of shelters when you visited the pets forum.

If you are able to send them those pictures in the email you'll probably have better luck. When you hear the term "stray cat" you typically think mangy little things that no one wants -- those cats are adorable!

You could also try Craigslist, though you'd have to be a bit more careful because I've heard there are creeps that look for free cats ....

For some reason Craiglist is deleting all my post related to cats. It seems like you cannot list a cat on Craiglist but I have seen many posting about cats on Craiglist.

I think you should just realize that you now own three cats (or they own you).

These kitties are adorable! If only I wasn't allergic to cats...

If they're feral, you may want to try to trap them to get them spayed/neutered soon. Otherwise you may have more kitties in your backyard. ShelbyGirl1 gave you good advice.

I actually have a friend looking for a maine coon..just don't know what one looks like, lol!
Craigslist is usually great for adoptions but try not to send cats to shelter if at all possible..I am a volunteer for Montgomery County Animal shelter and they will put them down if they don't find homes..its sad for the animals..and i understand it..they will literally receive 50 cats/kittens in one day, yet are only able to adopt out less then 10 in a week..However, Houston SPCA is supposed to be a no-kill shelter..take them there if you have to..
