HELP!! I need a good orthopedic surgeon. I injured my knee. I don't know how except I'm getting older. I was walking on it and I guess I turned it the wrong way. Anyway, I waited a while to call a doctor, but did so once I realized it definitely wasn't getting better. I called a doctor about a month ago and said it was for a knee injury. She made an appointment for me for the end of July, over 2 months later! And they don't keep a cancellation/waiting list. Now it's getting to where I can barely walk on it.

Does anyone know of a good orthopedic surgeon? It would be great if he/she was out in the Clear Lake area, but I'm willing to travel to see a good one.

Thanks in advance.

Shawn Holt is in Clear Lake and has a great reputation.

In Houston, Eric Berkman is outstanding - operates out of Foundation Medical Center on 610 near the 610/59 interchange.
