Recently moved, looking for some help with ankle pain and plantar fasciitis on one foot. Anybody have recommendations for the Sugarland to Katy area?

Thanks

Fondren Orthopedic, Dr. Burke. or Richmond Bone and Joint, multiple MD's there.

If you prefer the Chiropractic route then try Katy Chiropractic, Dr. Balin.

What did you do to injure your ankle and how long have you been dealing with plantar fasciitis? Have you tried custom insole or other orthotics for your shoes? What is your activity level and what exacerbates your symptoms?

There is a not a lot you can do for plantar fasciitis. It just takes time to heal. Get some superfeet insoles. I dated a Chiropractor. Don't go that route. They are not real doctors. I am a fan of Baylor Ortho though it is in the med center.

Have been a patient of Dr. Burke for years. He did my knee replacement for me when I lived on the East side of town. Now looking for someone on the West side as I'm facing a second TKR for the other knee.

Have dealt with pain from the plantar facitis for going on 3 years now. I'm looking for someone who can treat both as I feel they are connected. Plantar Facitis started after having the TKR. Need to fix the foot before surgery on the other knee. Saw one podiatrist for the PF last year and his immediate comment was surgery. I want to pursue other routes as I have not heard of anything good coming from surgery for PF.

Funny statement. I do like the uninformed.

You might want to call Dr. Burke and ask for a referral or find a Chiro in your area that does Graston Technique. Good luck.

Thanks. After further research I did find someone who does both Graston Technique and ART. My first appointment is this week so I'm hoping for some relief soon!
