Average price for hardwood floors installed? (hardwood floor, refinish, installation, cost)

I have a guy who is quoting me $4100.00 to install 3 1/4 hardwood (summer set oak) for about 540 sqft.

That is below 8.00 a sq ft which seems to be the low end for hardwood installed.

I am wondering what the average generally is. Lumber Liquid...etc. is far more expensive 11-14.00 a sq ft

we bought Bruce Dundee hardwood floor (3 1/4) at 3.6 per sq ft plus tax and labor to install it is 1.5 per sq ft.
