what do you all use to clean your wood floors? and how often?
We have dark cherry wood floors and no matter what I use you can always see scuffs(dog feet, people feet, etc).
Someone told me thats just dark wood floors but maybe someone has a secret I don't know of.

They are very pretty and I love them but they have a dull shine. They are 3 yrs old. I don't know much about them as the old owner put them in

thanks in advance

I use an O-Cedar dust mop with a cleaner whose name escapes me... I got it at Target and it's almond scented (it's a brown liquid, sold near the dust mops or a row or two over). Apparently the company that makes the cleaner also makes dust mops but the O Cedar ones were more solid feeling.

Thank you Threerun!
I get tired of this subject being hashed and re-hashed over and over and over and over-
Oh, sorry- got carried away.
And from the professionals:

I just had my floors done. I vacuum and use a dust mop every day. Then I have Bruce's (Bona is more expensive) floor cleaner and use that with a microfiber mop. We wear slippers around the house plus in our socks, no shoes or sneakers.

I'm a hardwood floor nut, yes when I feel like exercising, I have the dust mop handy and like to dust the floors. Vacuum the floors and throw rugs once a week, and use the cleaner once in a while.
