I do our wood floors every day as well. I have three dogs so needles to say there's always something that needs to be scrubbed! I have even started putting 'slippers' on the dogs feet. I hate dirty floors!!!
I just had my floors done. I vacuum and use a dust mop every day. Then I have Bruce's (Bona is more expensive) floor cleaner and use that with a microfiber mop. We wear slippers around the house plus in our socks, no shoes or sneakers.
This is pretty similar to the way we clean ours, except I don't vacuum everyday. I also try not to wear shoes on the floors. Sorry OP I think the darker colors show prints etc. more, mine are light and don't show spots as much.
Yes my floors, forgot to mention, so we found out after picking up carpet are white maple. So they are light and now I want to do more rooms, especially since I have allergies.
Holy cow. We lived in a rural area with 4 dogs and we cleaned our floors once a week and I took real attention to them once a month. That's even burning a woodstove, living off a gravel road, etc..
If we did it every day, nothing else would get done!
