If you want to leave the awnings you could use black trim with the moss green that people are talking about-I agree with that color choice too--try the Dry Sage at Benjamin Moore--LOVE that color.
Black trim would compliment that color and tie in the awnings. You don't even need to do all the trim in black, maybe just some shutters or your front door.
Firstly, tear down the awning....sorry, but it detracts from the charm of the house. I think I'd choose a house color as near to the color of the stone as possible, perhaps a taupe. I'd use a stain if possible, and also stain the trim and window shutters in a second color...maybe a sage green, or even charcoal, and maybe try rusty-red on the window shutters. Lots of variations are possible on the taupe-charcoal-sage-red theme, but never a shiny finish on rustic materials. Add a happy rusty-red front door. Voila!
I am with the other's that recommended the sages, moss colors. There is actually a house with similar color stone near my work...and they use the moss/olive green and there's also a little bit of brownish color for accent. It's pretty.
