If you are considering paint, check with an auto body shop. They can probably make it look better than new.
Yes.......and if it only the door(s), you should be able to take the door(s) off and just bring those to the auto body shop. I have seen this done with nice results.
This is an old thread, but we rented a black car and later noticed scratches by one of the passenger doors. I had one of those black shoe polish sponges and use it on the scratches. After I was finished, you couldn't see any scratches and the only thing noticeable was that the section was the shiniest spot on the car. It should work for light scratches on black appliances too.
Automotive touch-up paint is what I have used before. You have to know which car's color matches the fridge better, I am a car nut so easy for me to figure it out. You go to the store, pick up the small touch-up paint and brush it on very gently. You can polish on it and repeat.
