Hi, I'm new here. I was looking for a way to fix the wall crack and found a thread from this forum and lead me to ask you some question.
I have a vertical crack on my basement wall and was wondering if this method of repairing is correct. The house is 12yrs old and we get the water leak from this crack, a drip by drip, if it rains hard for at least full day.
I've searched and seems like sealing it from the outside is the way to go. So I'm planning on digging outside it's about 6-7 ft deep and apply this waterproof root/foundation wall coating material on the wall and put a thin plastic vinyl on top of it and put the dirt back in. What do you think?
Thanks
