It's about time on the AWD. The FWD platform is the only thing that had me excluding a TL from any future shopping lists. And it better be Honda's SH-AWD system and not one of those so-called AWD systems that are really FWD 98% of the time like on so many other cars.
As for the snout... yeah, it's like, "wait, I forgot -- is that the Autobot emblem or the Decepticon emblem? Because I don't want to be driving an evil car." I think I'd be looking to get an aftermarket grill put on.
It is Honda's SH-AWD, as opposed to its fwd "awd" on its other cars like the CR-V. AWD is nice, but Acura design really dropped the ball on this, and really, all its latest redesigns. I've seen a couple of the shield nose cars on the road and they are truly ugly cars. Id doesn't help that all that faux metal catches sunlight and blinds you, but maybe Honda did that on purpose to hide the bad design of the car.
Pound for pound, Infiniti's cars offer everything an Acura does and much more car from a performance standpoint. You have to be a real fan of Honda to buy an Acura imo.
This is in the style of the new MDX and TSX. Even the RL has this look now.
TSX: that is the mini 'SUV' type of Acura? If so; it is an ugly son-of-a gun.
The grille of that thing screams ghetto to me.
