Just saw that Sherwin Williams is having 40% off paints and stains through July 22.
Wish I could decide on paint colors to take advantage of the sale. I think they have this promotion a few times a year, but if you are planning any painting here is a good deal .

You can buy untinted paint at Sherwin Williams when it's on sale. Take it back when you're ready to paint and they will tint to your choice for free. It does require you to choose what type and finish you'll need (Emerald type, satin finish for example) when you buy it, but at least you're able to take advantage of the 40% off sales when they happen. I do this ALL the time.

That doesn't work if you buy light base and then decide on a color that requires a dark base.

Just ask to open a business account and you’ll get 30% off year round. I don’t think they ever even asked to see proof of my LLC. And if you open a charge account they’ll usually give you a couple of $50 coupons.

Thumbs up for Sherwin Williams.

I used them on my house repair project for ceiling, baseboard, and drywall color matching.

I tried using Home Depot's color matching and it was a triple failure with the colors being juuust slightly off, but immediately noticeable even though I brought in color samples.

Sherwin Williams knocked all three out of the park; perfect matches.

That’s a great idea. I don’t have need of it now but will keep that in mind. A good way to buy the high end paint.

Thanks for the tip. Just went and purchased a bunch of paint that I was going to have to get later this summer anyway.
