Don't know about the rest of 'yall, but my highlight of last evening was the face plant.....
this is what you choose as a highlight? Have to remind you, I guess, that the person behind the face plant is a fellow human being. That guy's name is Kris Versteeg. Kris and his wife Brittney welcomed their first child, Jaxson, the previous day (Tuesday)
It was a nasty fall, dangerous, and he is lucky that he didn't get seriously hurt. But you choose that as a highlight. Pretty much sums up my feeling about Floridian sports fans, and really, Floridians in general. Just a bunch of low class losers.
we see those all the time from Bolt players - face plant into the pipes, priceless
As a Ranger fan, I really like the Tampa Bay triplets(Cally, Strahlman & Boyle), so I watch as much Lightning hockey as I can. You most certainly do not see goals like that all the time. That was a great goal.

It was a magical, odd, fantastic seeing eye goal, fantastic hand eye coordination on the part of Killorn who was not even facing the net. But I guess for some people it is celebration worthy when a person gets hurt, instead of a cool accomplishment.
I just read Oildogs original post from May of 2009. It reminds me of the 2008 Blackhawks convention. I was in the can and Eddie Olczyk walks in to take a leak. I ask him "What do you think of the team with these new guys?"
His reply was :
"We are about to be part of something special for the next decade or so"

I had a similar conversation with Savard, who was still coach at the time. I was at the signing convention at the Dave & Busters and asked him almost hte same question. He said something along the lines of "just wait and see for yourself, I think youre gonna be happy."
I'm not sure if "great game" applies here. The Hawks definitely stole this one. If Crawford weren't such a brick wall last night, this series would be 3-1.
Sometimes, games go like that. I felt like the Hawks were better in the two games that they lost, and the Bolts were better in the two games that they lost, so it kind of evens out. The Blackhawks looked scrambley and out of sorts, and the line changes did not help. Crawford has taken a beating this series, but he looked good last night.
