What are your predictions? I'm thinking if Vokoun slips up like he's been known to do that we could have a chance. Thoughts?

Below there is a season discussion thread. That said, yes, the Flyers can beat the Pens. The Pens can also beat the Flyers. Game has potential.

Being from Pittsburgh, yes the Pens have a chance, but it doesn't matter what lines match up to what lines or who has a better season record. The Pens vs Flyers is a season within its own every year. I agree with the OP that if Vokoun forgets how to play between the pipes again its going to be a really long game. Watching the Pens vs Panthers game the other night it was truly back and forth 13 goals between them. This game has a chance to be the same way. Which is not say that the bad blood between the both doesn't boil over, Simmons was really poking at people the last game and would expect a Simmons vs Engelland rematch at some point this season. Should be a great game to watch, the Turnpike match-up always is.

If there was no chance then why play the game? Just award the win or loss and move on.

I do that all the time while watching hockey. Is that wrong?
