My grandmother just won $225 at a casino in PA.

I recently won $75, but if I'd been playing maxbet it would have been $225 also. But I'm not a $3 pull kinda person, lol. Even $1 a pull seems steep to me.

I won $1000 on a dollar slot machine. A guy had been working that machine for hours, when he walked away I fed it two dollars and hit. He came back 10 minutes later and asked if he could have the machine back as he just knew it was going to pay off soon. I gave him the machine and did not say a thing.

Won $1000 on a blackjack machine a year later same casino Circus Circus.

Great thing is I rarely gamble.

$10. I was seven or eight years old having dinner with my parents at Crystola Inn, a bar and restaurant (roadhouse) between Manitou Springs and Woodland Park, Colorado. My age wasn't an issue; the machines were illegal. This was probably in 1951 or 52. Sadly, the federal government (the Kefauver Commitee) came down hard on Colorado and the slots, at least those in plain sight, disappeared.

The trip I took when I won the $500, I came to LV in a $280,000 Greyhound Bus, and came back in a $1,000,000 Boeing 727!

$80 (quarter machine), on ONE QUARTER. Primm, Nevada.

My husband is quite lucky on such things. He once won $250 on a .25 cent Haywire machine at Harrah's in Los Vegas.

He's way luckier than I am on such things.
