I am 42 years old and was diagnosed with aggressive cataracts (no diabetes just inherited) I also have a lazy eye,I have had cataract surgery in my good eye and the dr used a distance lens, he mentioned putting a mild near-sighted lens in my lazy eye so I can see close up. I was wondering if that is a good thing to do or not, or if anyone has been through something like this.
Hi mitzibug,
I don't think anyone but a doctor is going to be able to tell you if it's a good idea or not.
What I do recommend however is getting a second opinion.
Good Luck
