Anyone who has been experiencing unexplained cases of hives, rashes, respiratory and digestive problems- I recommend looking into your tap water as the possible cause- specifically the chemical Chloramine which is added by many municipalities to sanitize the water. There are bad side effects from this chemical and is a threat to human health but the EPA is not yet convinced of this threat. We need to put a stop to the use of Chloramine in our tap water which has the negative effects of:

- proven increase in presence of lead in tap water due to Chloramine usage

- health problems in hundreds to thousands of people across the US including sever hives, respiratory problems

- potential effects to cause cancer

- is less an effective sanitizer than Chlorine which was previously used

- dialysis patients need to have their water filtered of Chloramine

So true. Every time I go to New Orleans I get a rash right after my first shower that lasts until a week after I leave.

(and NO, it's not from the women on Bourbon Street)
