Hi all,

Statistics show that there is a surplus of men in this area in the ages of 20-30. Is this true? Would anyone like to share their own observations or personal stories? I am a SWF who is 32 who is considering moving to Va Beach.

Thanks!!

there are single men 20-30 in NFK/VA beach. the problem is that they are mostly military and aren't expected to live in the area more than 3 or four years. the good ones with steady jobs will be hard to find given the job market down there.

If you are looking for a higher statistical area of men... then you can move to Alaska, where women are in great demand.

LOL! Navy town = Sausage Festival!

I live in Portland, Oregon (euro-metro' capital, & yes I do drive a german car). But I'm on navy duty in Norfolk quite regularly, so I'm in the soup full of swabbies out there too. Great fun crowd, surprisingly friendly, not one brawl. Drive up north, start out at Saddle Ridge, enjoy Hampton Virginia Saddle Ridge Night Club and Cheyenne Supper Club Open Seven Days a Week

If that's not your forte, it's definitely within the bible belt supply of male churchgoers too.

Yeah, she isn't exagerrating, you can literally go ANYWHERE in HR and meet a military guy. Try pasting an ad on a dating site, I can almost guarentee you will get 50-100 hits the first day.

What everyone else said. For a single female like yourself, it's probably great. However, if you're not into military guys, you might not like it as much. It makes it tough on we single civilian men.
