I am moving from the west coast to portsmouth. I am going to rent a home on ann street which is 1/2 mile from old town can anyone tell me anything about this neighborhood? I'm a bit nervous about it all and what are the elementary schools like?

old town is nice since they did alot of work down there. It's near the Ntelos Pavillion, a really nice amphitheater with great shows. Nice little irish pub on the corner too!

Yea, it's close to DC, that's why, but in todays' world, it doesn't matter where you live anymore. There seems to be some sort of issue. Kids today are not as we were and unfortunately that won't change.
