There's a traffic light near my house that has had the green light burnt out since before Thanksgiving. I called the Greenville County Sheriff's Department back in November and they haven't done anything yet. It's probably not a safety hazard since there are two lights going that way and one of them still works, but it makes me wonder: If they can't fix a traffic light in three months, are we dangerously low on county road resources?
Is there someone else I should call besides the Sheriff's Department?
If you know someone who is good with Electronics , the sheriffs dept , might let them do it. They let my friend repair a light near my house a few years ago. The bulbs themshevls are like 100-200 each. Although it depends on if its a LED or older bulb?
To follow up, I never called back the SCDOT after they were closed on Monday, but amazingly the light just got fixed in the last few days. I wonder if someone read this thread?
