Hi there
I have a toddler armchair which has been passed down through the family but is now in need of repair (was damaged during shipment) and needs to be reupholstered as well.
Can anybody recommend a good carpenter or know of someone who does this?
I just had some chairs done by Tailored Touch (in Taylors), and I am not happy with them at all. They advertise that they are the "Best in the Upstate" and came on recommendation from Feather Your Nest. After inspecting the finished results, I'm calling David, the owner, back to see if they are going to resolve the issues. I will post back if all goes well. If they don't resolve it, I would certainly never use this company. If I saw this quality of upholstery on new chairs in a store, I wouldn't buy them. The issues are pretty obvious to even an untrained eye.
