I am new to Greenville and am looking for a good hairstylist. I would prefer not to spend more than $50 for a haircut. Can anyone recommend a good hairstylist/salon? I would prefer the downtown Greenville area or Taylors area. Thank you.

Can't help you as I'm in the same boat. For the seven months I've been living in the Greenville area, I've hated my hair. Had to come back to Chicago for a visit and see my former hairdresser to get it made right.

Will be watching this post closely to see what others have to say. Maybe they can help us both!

I'm pretty sure if you search back in the forum there once was a big topic on this so you could look in there.

I would recommend wilsons in downtown(*off washington) but they tend to be a little expensive. my friend at work just got her hair done(cut color style for a little over 50 bucks) by a girl that used to work at wilsons but now rents a chair in TR, i'll try to get her name and report back here

Jen Bigsby at Augusta Place Salon cuts my hair. Cut and style is $40. She does an amazing job and is very personable. Don't have the number handy, but you should be able to Google Augusta Place Salon. It's on Augusta Road near downtown Greenville.

I just found Shampoo Hair Salon off Woodruff road in the Woodruff Corporate Center. Josipa, the owner, highlighted and cut my hair and did a wonderful job. Their number is 297-0067, and they have a website Hair Salon Greenville South Carolina
Good luck!

Wisteria Salon off Woodruff Rd. I tried it by chance since it was an Aveda salon and I love it there!

I'll let you know. I'm trying someone who was recommended to me (by a local) next Thursday.

This is one of the hardest things about moving.
