High Schools near Simpsonville, SC (Greenville, Mauldin: houses, school district, moving)

We are moving from Camas, WA (Portland, OR) to the Simpsonville, SC area. I would like information on the best High Schools. We have an upcoming Junior. We would like to pick a school and then look for houses in that area. I would appreciate any information ASAP because we will be in town next week. Thanks, Dd

Hillcrest HS is in Simpsonville; some Simpsonville residents go to Woodmont HS and some to Mauldin HS. You can research school reports online at the Greenville County School District website. We let our then-rising 9th grader choose the school that looked best to her. She choose Mauldin based on students ratings. If I were you I'd choose Mauldin HS. If you need a link, let me know.

agree with Myrc60 would do Hillcrest or Mauldin HS Woodmont has a brand new school but a new building does not change old ways.

If your child is in band you should choose Mauldin, as Hillcrest and Woodmont both have small bands.
