Well I hear that the apartment complex on Highway 81 beside Ingles will become reality. Rent starting at $1200 per month. Any more news on this?

I haven't heard anything about this, but I assume it would include enclosed parking. How many units have been proposed?

I did attend a Town Hall type meeting a few weeks back where the apartments were discussed. There was quite a turn-out as the apartments being proposed were low-income housing. Jerry Tripp, I believe, was the agent handling the transaction and a group out of Charlotte would be developing the property.

You are probably correct. I heard there was a lot of opposition but was told by another agent so if you were there you are more accurate. I was told $1200 per month but I don't know what size that would be. That does not sound like low income to me. That's more than most house payments. Thanks for sharing. Jerry does own his own firm.
