If LoopNet is any indicator, Sticky Fingers has in fact closed permanently. I initially speculated that they had closed a couple weeks ago, but had no way of knowing for sure.

I was a little late seeing this but the last time I visited the IHOP in Simpsonville it smelled like moldy carpet. We went in on a weekday morning and the fellow that seated us, also waited on us, cooked the food and took our money. I couldn't get over the smell and vowed to never visit that location again.

JCPenney could possibly be disappearing from all upstate malls soon. Belk owners looking to acquire them and fold them into Belk. Overlapping Penney stores would be liquidated.

Did Maserati close? The Maserati sign has been taken down and the website doesn’t work. However, there are still cars for sale in the lot. Weird.

Just a wild guess: They have new owners and the sign/name will change?

They have been closing underperforming locations and dealing with quality control issues. But they remain a strong brand overall, and are popular in the Southeast and Midwestern markets. Their product is good at a well manged location, as they have a strong breakfast menu and upgraded burgers from Carl's Jr. And a few select franchise locations still serve fried chicken as previously inherited from Roy Rogers. Combined with Carl's Jr. Hardee's remains a strong national brand and I don't really see them going anywhere. They will just continue to evolve and upgrade as needed.

Hardee’s does really well for breakfast. Their burgers are good too. As a non-meat eater, their Beyond Burger is outstanding.

I enjoy the thin patty charbroiled Star Burgers from Carl's Jr. that have the special sauces. Famous Star, Superstar, Western Star, and Big Hardee. Glad they finally brought them back as signature sandwiches common to both divisions.

When they eventually sweep the floors and it's discovered the floor has disappeared months ago.
