Ok, you forgive him. I can't. That is a terrorist. And the white supremecy movement is growing.
I cannot believe that it is 2009 and the level of ignorance that is in this country astounds me.
What good does it do you to not forgive the man? Or, honestly, what difference does it make?
The bottom line is that he was a hateful old Nazi, and mentally ill. He acted out in a very tragic way.
But I'm not sure what that has to do with the level of ignorance that is in this country, nor why it should astound you. There are hateful nutjobs everywhere. And unfortunately, some of them turn violent.

I was responding to the OP, although, it does not make one iota of difference. He/She/It stated that he/she/it could forgive him. I stated, that I sure couldn't.

The bottom line is that he is another freak who had his own website and was another Holocaust denier.

Because the number is on the rise, not diminishing, and that is ignorant. The reasoning is ignorant, the hate is ignorant, the whole 9 yards is ignorant. Now, how you gel with that is your business. My compassion tank is reserved and is currently empty in that area.

Your right, there most certainly are. Again, how you gel with that is your business. Me? There is nothing in the rule book that says that I have to give a damn about this guy. Or anybody who is remotely inclined to that level of hatred.
Whoops, and forgot about the Black Separatists. You guys are so silly, you act like the only place racism exists is in the South. But here you go,

Last year, 926 hate groups were active in the U.S., up more than 4% from 888 in 2007. That's more than a 50% increase since 2000, when there were 602 groups SPLCenter.org: The Year in Hate
Pretty meaningless without numbers of members. Groups could divide & new groups form from members of several groups. Any links to how many folks are involved in these hate groups?
The data says theres 5 in CT yet I cant say they are in the spotlight much.
I think its very clear that huge inroads have been made in regards to racism in the USA. Heck we have a black President.

You're right. There could be twice as many hate groups as the year previous. But if each of those groups has only a fourth the number of adherents, the total number is lower.
I read in Newsweek a couple of issues ago ("Rebranding Hate In The Age Of Obama") that the number of hate groups in the country has risen in the last few years from 49 to nearly 500. Notice how different those figures are from the ones in the post above!!! What they didn't say is whether that means the bigger groups are subdividing or whether that indicates an increase in the absolute number of card-carrying haters. They did say that a lot of hate outfits are now calling themselves "ethnic pride" groups and other things that sound more innocuous. Speaking as someone who's part German and part Jewish, I find an "ethnic pride" group full of people with names like Bauer and Schickelgruber a bit chilling.

They notoriously split. But, I will give it a whirl. I'm going to need a quick minute. Just letting you know that I'm not ignoring your reply.
I believe this was a 'suicide by cop'. There is no way this guy could have expected that he would not be shot and killed. I agree that his life was a waste.

I agree - the level of ignorance is astounding, but thought I ought to mention - it isn't just here in the USA. There are hate groups all over the world.

75.6% of the statistics in Newsweek are made up on the spot.
