Counterdemonstrators overshadow Kansas fringe group : City & Region : The Buffalo News (http://www.buffalonews.com/cityregion/story/587487.html - broken link)
. . . narrowly missed getting my picture in the paper, I was just a foot or so to the left
Here's a great response to hate that I heard about recently: a guy I know was in a bar, playing a trivia game. Someone approached him and started talking. That seemed nice and friendly until he realized the guy was trying to recruit him into the KKK. He said, "Listen, pal, I'm not interested, and even if I was, your kind doesn't like my kind." (He's an Italian Catholic.) Then other people around them joined in, explaining why THEY have no interest in joining a hate group: this one is dating a Hispanic, that one has a Black stepfather, whatever.
They laughed him out of that place. My friend goes there regularly and he never spotted this chump in there again. Ha!
