I moved from NJ to SC and that hasn't been my experience at all. I do agree stupidity is everywhere though.

As jim white used to say on kmox talk radio, "you just can't fix stupid", another phrase he used was "save me from the good people".

My uncle used to just get a look on his face and say: 'Well, it's a deep subject'.

I used to date this gorgeous guy, and I mean gorgeous to look at, my nickname for him was box of rocks and he never caught on.
A Florida native.

Ha, ha...that's hilarioius... Glad you said, "used to date".

I had a similiar experiences when I was a spring chicken. Funny with packages like that the "gorgeousness" melts away and the flaws start taking priority - even if it's one single strand of hair you don't like. You know like that one hair turns into the whole person or something. Then one day at the spur of the moment it's like, "hey, what happened here? the prince turned into a frog!"

to quote Bill Bryson--writes books--somewhat satirical --has a broad POV--Life, etc

“I have long known that it is part of God's plan for me to spend a little time with each of the most stupid people on earth.”
