That's not true. Plenty of smokers still actually smoke it. Vaping is still pretty new.

San Francisco is full of potheads, and last time I checked our economy was doing pretty well -- if not too well for some people's taste.

Agreed - the vast majority, in fact - but his/her point still stands. You don't need to trash your lungs at all anymore.

^ According to you - a lot is grown there, but it certainly isn't the center of pot CULTURE (see: title/OP)

Pretty new? Only if "new" means at least 11 years ago and earlier. Sorry, but you are out of touch.

The study I referenced was from 2007, which was way after vaporizer use started. Here's a site talking about vaping from 2003:
Search Results for Query: vaporizer | Marijuana Forums

And BTW, every dispensary has tons of vaporizers for sale, a few bongs, and even fewer pipes. The cannabis today is so resinous that pipe screens get clogged and bongs get dirty after a single use. That's why vaporizers are so widespread.

Uh, no one has used screens since last century. Most hitter boxes (for example) include a round metal "cleaner" = push through, clean with rag, smoke.

It's true that most people still aren't vaping, though as you say the trend is moving in that direction.

Don't forget about edibles too-there really is no need to harm your lungs (although I still do enjoy to smoke).

Edibles seem to be the most popular cannabis items selling in Colorado.
