I paid $4 a gallon for gas today. How much is it where you are? (difference, blocks)

Today 1/2/24 I paid $2.29 9/10 per gallon in Houston, TX.

That was 4 cents more than the $2.25 9/10 per gallon I paid for my last tank (same 'go to' station).

That was the first time in, IIRC, a few months where I paid more than the previous tank (rather than the same or less).

I'm currently charging at an Electrify America station in the WalMart parking lot in North Highlands, CA which is a Sacramento suburbs---over here it's only $0.34 per kwh compared to my discounted rate of $0.43 in the Bay.
