What are some general cultural differences between NY - I guess these days mainly the boroughs, and New Jersey, specifically northern New Jersey? Especially among Italian Americans? Are they basically identical? If not what are some of the big differences in accent, street slang, food, mannerism etc you have noticed. Be as subjective as you like.
