The aero gardens look interesting - I'm still gathering info on the indoor/growlight type setups.

For now my "herb garden" is in potting mix in small pots along the kitchen and/or utility room windowsills. One room gets morning sun, the other gets the afternoon sun LOL

Low light herbs like rosemary, parsley, chervil, mint and anything in the onion family like chives can do very well in a window and/or a simple florescent light..

If it seems to work out then go ahead and invest in more lighting to increase your variety.
