I came across some ants behind my house the other day. Never seen them before. Its a mixture of these small orangish ants and bigger dark ants with wings.

One spot I found them in was at their hole. It wasnt a traditional ant hill, but an actual inch big hole. The other spot they are in is at my storm door entrance to the basement.

I live in Connecticut.
