I ended up buying at Kroger's. Off brand for 59 cents/lb., if I buy $20 of groceries, which I did. It's small, though. 13 pounds. I like bigger turkeys, so can make soup and sandwiches and eat on that for a week or more. Or freeze leftovers.

I am considering buying another elsewhere. But I'm fairly pleased with the deal, esp since I had a few coupons for other things, and other things I bought were on sale.

Example: Community coffee was on sale for $4/package. I had a coupon for $4 off if I buy two packages, which I did. So I got one package of coffee for FREE!

I don't shop at Kroger's much. They have a lot of items in store brands, I was pleasantly surprised to see.

No great bargains here this year. Makes me sad because I love snarfing up those bargain birds! The cheapest so far is .79 per lb at Smith's.
