I know its a lot of different choices but can someone let me know what the best area out of the 4 listed above is the nicest area to live in. Im sure there are positive and negative of each of those cities so if you have pos or negs on them that would be appreciated also. Thanks in advance

What is important to you? Schools? Retail/restaurants?
Where will you be workiing? Is commute time important to you like it is to most of us?
Without more specific criteria, it's like comparing apples and oranges...

Your better schools will be in Grapevine and Flower Mound. This is important even if you don't have kids because it affects property values. These are probably the newer and cleaner of the cities you listed and definielty have more ammenities (gyms, restaurants, etc.).
I think Euless is kind of old and not many ammenities, but it is the closest to FW if your commute is to there. Flower Mound is a little inconvenient when you are trying to get to Dallas or Fort Worth. Hope that helps.

Grapevine has good schools, is centrally located so you can easily go the Dallas direction or FW direction, and has quite a few things that could keep a family entertained.

I concur that FM is inconvenient for getting anywhere...you have to go thru Grapevine to get to Dallas or FW. I live near Flower Mound and right now it sucks because of road construction along the main road that goes through it. For entertainment (dining or shopping) we usually go to Grapevine, Southlake or Lewisville. Highland Village is about to get a shopping area like Southlake Town Center so that will be very nice. Highland Village is just north of FM if you want to take a look there.

Euless is an old community but they have started cleaning up the town. There's not a lot to do there so you'll find yourself driving to Hurst for North East Mall or (it comes up again) Grapevine.

I don't know anything about Carrollton so I can't help you there.

Grapevine is the best by far. Better Schools. More atmosphere. Lakes. Old growth trees. Main St. Wine festivals.

We live in Grapevine and are very pleased.

The schools are excellent (all 3 of our kids said they felt well prepared for college - and 2 out of 3 even proved it!) It is conveniently located to the airport and major freeways and has a number of fun things to do. Has a little bit of a small town feel instead of the suburbs (though it definitely is the 'burbs). It's not all newly minted, perfectly kept subdivisions (not that they are bad) - it has apartments and old houses, businesses in well-worn older buildings, plus lots of nice newer developments. Downtown is very charming.

Traffic can be bad, especially around TX 114 and TX 121 - but there are a few back ways around some of it once you learn the streets.

All depends on what you value, but I think Grapevine is a good choice.

From your list, I choose Grapevine. It has alot of charm and character and still retains that small-town feel. The downtown area is brimming with wonderful shops, including those that sell antiques, as well as cool boutiques. They have a couple of great festivals where Main St. is closed and is filled with vendors, artisans, etc. Also, they have some great summer programs for kids as well as adults. And at Christmastime, it is straight out of a film. Also, it has a vintage railroad that offers roundtrips to the Ft Worth Stockyards (a MUST do for everyone). Housing isn't quite as expensive as in Southlake. And there is Grapevine Lake for boating, etc, plus lots of picnic areas and ball fields. You are a matter of minutes from DFW airport, too. And Southlake is next door for great shopping in Town Square. Also, the schools are very good.
