More good news this morning, Cape Coral approved the funds to put 11 more sheriffs in the local schools. Are they teaching self defense classes? What the heck is wrong with those students parents? Why do we need cops in the schools? I guess the teachers hands are tied when it comes to discipline. More tax dollars being directed to the wrong place. Pay the teachers more to get quality instructors.

The truth is that most parents are in total denial about what is going on at Lee county schools. I will tell you that most parents start LEE schools with great attitudes about elementary schools. Why becuase its mostly easy non challenging curriculums for our children at younger ages, always has been always will be. The problems start at around 5th grade when reading skills are either finalized or are left wanting. Ask any teacher and they will tell you it all goes down hill starting in 5 th grade through high school in Lee county. That is if the students dont drop out, or get kicked out....

If one had to pick,,, find a PO box in Collier county and send your kids there...not superior but better than Lee...
