We are moving to South Florida in June. We have a 6 years old boy - currently going to Catholic School in Palatine IL. I'm so confused on schooling in FL.
Can anyone help?
I need info on good schools and good areas to live.

There are a lot of nice sub-divisions...I would also narrow down Schools and which part of Boca you are interested in....Del Prado is Central West I guess ive heard people call it...We are just east of the turnpike...depends on what your price range is, do you want a gated community?

Yes, I prefer gated community... or a nice town home. I would like to be close to shopping, restaurants etc. Of course the school will be our main choosing factor.

There are some really nice communities but they aren't gated my kids have friends all different sub-divisions and although we prefer gated too their homes are beautiful...I will list a few for you in the morning

A lot of the gated communities though are country club with equity fee to get in and outrageous HOA fees as well...Our friends pay a lot..lol
