Here's a picture of the Cathy Fromme Prairie, at the southern end of the city. This is the natural vegetation of Fort Collins. I think it's pretty, but it's normally only green for 2+ months of the year (May and June). The rest of the year, the buffalo grass and blue grama are dormant from either dryness or cold.

Default Photos tell the real story!

Loved the original photos that started this thread. People can tell you how wonderful a place is, but until you see it or experience it, there is no comparison. I would love to see more photos of "WONDERFUL" FC! Here is a photo of my daughter at the CSU flower exibit in July of "09". We visited there from Fl. and just loved it.

I would love to see more pics! It doesn't have to be just beautiful scenery and downtown, i'd be interested in seeing the common scenery of everyday-ness too! :P
