I worked at various dealerships over a course of years, and I sold a few vehicles myself with a second set of wheels. Supplemental equipment is just that, supplemental. It should be listed as such in the bill of sale and sold in addition to existing equipment.

The pimped out new tires and rims are listed as a "Dealer installed option" on the supplemental window sticker. The OEM rims and tires are essentially traded in. Right or wrong, that's how it's done.

My current dealer has stacks of OEM tires and rims that were taken off that are for sale, some at pretty good prices.
