OK, time to chime in on why the pup above is a great deal.
It comes down to whether or not you want a fast car or a slow car. If you're OK with "driving a slow car fast", the ST-Line will do the trick and it looks pretty cool, to boot. But it's definitely no ST.
I see now that these are a bit old. Did you end up getting a Fiesta?
I know this thread is a little old, but I just stumbled on it and have a question.
I want a Ford Fiesta. They are no longer making it, so the 2019 models are the last. There are still a few available in the 5 speed manual transmission that I want. Total MSRP is $16,310. Ford is offering $4000 cash off the top price, so that brings it down to $12,310. What would be a reasonable offer to make to the dealer?
I'd appreciate any advice that savvy car buyers can give me
I would shoot for $12K out the door. Maybe even $11K, if the dealer is truly desperate.

No, my wife doesn't want a Ford Fiesta ST or ST-Line. She wants a 2020 and/on Kia Soul. So I've made a total shift in what I want for this day going forward. One could do a lot worse than a 2020 Kia Soul SE 6-speed stick. That's where my focus has shifted. I'd like to seal a deal by the 2nd week in March of 2020 on a 2020 Kia Soul 6-speed stick SE. In black or silver or...yellow if they make it in yellow.
I offered $11,000 OTD, he came back with $14,000. I said "Thanks but no thanks".
Turns out the car was actually a 2018 AND it wasn't manual transmission (which is what I specifically want).
The search continues.
Yeah, I wouldn't have suggested $11K if it was an automatic, but $12K for it wouldn't have been out of this world. Especially if it was over a year old (maybe even two).
There were issues with the dual clutch automatic transmissions in the Fiesta and Focus for some years, and some recalls and warranty repairs, then warranty extensions, but I think they have been okay since the 2017 model year?

I got a 2019 “s” model five-speed for $13,500 out the door including 6% tax in November.. 0% financing as well. There were only a couple cheapies in my state according to fords website at the time. No complaints as of yet, and coming due for its first oil change. To my knowledge, the automatics are pretty much identical to previous years mechanically, and I wouldn’t have an automatic if it was free based on how bad some of the older automatics were.
I don’t know how much negotiation leverage you really have with leftovers of this model, just because it’s literally the cheapest new car on the lot by a pretty wide margin.

Did you know? Automatic transmissions(powershift) had a troubled?
