Who among us hasn’t simultaneously marveled and shuddered over accounts of deep-fried Twinkies? Deep-fried Oreos? Deep-fried bacon?

Well, brace yourself, because a new deep-fried item has been invented that’s so bold, so audacious, so brazen, it’s bound to take your breath away.

Hold on to your hearts: It’s deep-fried butter! - TODAY Food and wine

I read about this. I wonder what one washes it down with. LOL!
Personally, I'll stick with fried ice-cream.

I think fried pecan pie is still my favorite. It tasted like the best doughnut of your life

Paula's got a recipe for fried butter balls. Interesting novelty, but it would probably make me puke upon eating it. Just can't imagine all that fat coating your throat.

Always wanted to check out the fair though. Fried yam on a stick sounds tasty.

Just when we thought it couldn't get any worse...there have been times in my life where I was a butter fiend...but that's taking it to a whole new level...wow.

I'm with Bella on this one....PASS

However, I was watching Paula Deen the other day and she made fried ice cream, it looked so yummy. I may have to try that.
