Let me say I would try it (doesn't sound bad). Donuts are evil. They taste so good ep the deep fried glazed with chocolate on top that they are hard to resist. Greasy sweet food appeals to mans primal senses. But they sure can clog up the arteries. Sorry for getting off topic and on my soapbox, but I see way too much chronic donut addiction.

I would try one in a heartbeat... and then listen as it starts to pump slower and slower. >.<

It reminds me of the Food Network show Diners, Drive-In’s and Dives, where they go all around the United States finding the random small local places who have signature dishes such as this. And they're usually 99% artery clogging pieces of heaven in your mouth. This Maple Bacon Donut is now also on the list of sinful eateries to visit one day.

BTW, maybe these were intended for population control. I want one with brown sugared bacon.
