Tonight will be leftover quiche from yesterday's brunch with some roasted brussels sprouts, pears w/ cinnamon for dessert.

Alm, I get a vicarious thrill every year when you start your holiday baking. Of course, if you could send me a big box of your goodies, I'd get more than just a VICARIOUS thrill!

I have a cut-up London broil shoulder steak in my crock pot with a couple of cans of soup and some spices. My house smells wonderful. I got up insanely early so will likely have dinner by 2 or 3 p.m. ... I am already hungry for it.

We will see how we feel in a few hours. I have a steak defrosted, but we also have a pot of split pea soup made. If it's the streak it will be with some mashed parsnips.

I pounded a large boneless chicken breast and have it marinating in a spicy sweet jalapeno brine -- will cover with panko and just pan saute and will serve with yellow rice with toasted almonds and french cut green beans. Will share this meal with my husband and we have a homemade butter pecan pound cake for dessert.
